Mission Statement

positive goals and abilities of all Juniors and Youth within the
program in an exciting and challenging atmosphere while maintaining
and encouraging positive community involvement.
Program Development
Statement
The committee has structured a program that is
designed to be flexible enough to provide both structure and
exploration in all Grange activities as both an individual and as a
family. With the focus on all aspects of the members’ lives, we
have, and will, continue to seek and accept suggestions as to any
changes members may feel are needed or desired. We continue to
strive to make a positive and meaningful contribution to each member
and his/her family and community.

State Contests
Entries in the State Contests are due by the opening of State Session. Include name, address, age, and grange. Each contest has two age groups … 5-9, and 10-14. Entry must be completed by child.
State Contests: Recycled Craft Featuring Plastic Bottle(s)
Recycling is a way in which to help our environment. We want you to make a useful item. Be creative. Rules … size limitation: no bigger than 24 inches by 24 inches. Judging is based upon originality, neatness, and creativity.
State Contests: Baking Contest – Using Jelly/Jams/Preserves
We urge parents to keep an eye on their children as they participate in this project and to assist wherever needed. Your recipe must include jelly, jam, or preserves. Rules: … no pre-mixed or box mixes; entry must consist of six servings of your jelly creation, such as cookies, cupcakes, cake, cups, etc.; entry should be displayed on a disposable plate or bowl, covered with clear plastic wrap; and recipe must be included with entry. Judging is based upon appearance, taste/texture, and creativity.
Design This Year’s Camp T-shirt
Design must be in keeping with this year’s theme – JG Olympics. Entries must be submitted to the director by April 15th. Winning entry will receive a special award. Please visit www.nationaljuniorgrange.org for National Grange contests and activities.
Quilt Raffle
A quilt was made by the campers and staff at the 50th anniversary of camp. Throughout the year, we will be selling chances on this quilt. Just contact a committee member for details.
Grange Family Day
We will be holding a Grange Family Day at Cold Spring Village. Open to all Grange members and their families.
